A common sight on Manitoba rivers and lakes, ice fishing is a popular pastime. There are so many fishing shacks in some places, that it looks like a village!

    Yup. Here in Minnesota, there is a lot of ice fishing going on. When I lived in the Twin Cities one neighbor would go fishing,and then deliver a big plate of gorgeous golden batter fried fish to me! I miss my neighbors!
