Yesterday we lost an old friend. Maneline Mirror Image, much loved mare bred, born and raised here on the farm. Long-time companion to her owner, Aynslie, she was quite the character. She always had to be a part of any goings on, didn’t have a mean bone in her body, and thoroughly enjoyed the retired life. It was more like having a big dog out in the pasture than a horse. She’s the beautiful black horse on the cover of Dream Catcher. Will be the cover of one of the volumes of One on the Island, and will always be dear to our hearts. We will always miss our little Image.
